Some rule 34 on the Internet (of Rainbow Brite) made me want to scrub the image out of my head by drawing cutesy cutesy cuteness.
So here's Rainbow Brite sitting on the moon.
FYI: A number of people have been selling T-Shirts, watches, and other items based on this drawing. I have not authorised the use of this work in that way (Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike), and I do not personally sell any such items.
Thanks! I'll have to check it out sometime, although I'm not sure… it's never quite the same when you revisit stuff from your childhood. Never really lives up to those memories.
It's frustrating, but it happens. Mostly I am disappointed when people use things that are not licensed for commercial purposes and go make things to sell, with no attribution to me, no acknowledgement whatsoever. Thank you for your kind words.

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked. `Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.' How do you know I'm mad? said Alice. `You must be,' said the Cat, or you wouldn't have come here.'

The danger is not that we will begin to mistake fantasy for reality, but that we will mistake reality for fantasy.
